Eyes of the Storm: Hurricanes Katrina and Rita: The Photographic Story by The Dallas Morning News

I read this book for the Southern Reading Challenge.

I wanted a non-fiction book and felt I hadn’t kept up with the Katrina coverage enough so I found this book. As stated in the title, it’s a photographic story, which means that most of the book is full of photographs but they are taken so well that they truly to tell a story. The photos do more than words could ever do to explain just what New Orleans went through.
