This book is perfect for your artistic child who could use some direction or for the child that wants to draw but is always asking, “What should I draw?”.

Each page has the start of a drawing and simple words asking the artist to finish the picture. There is directions but there are no wrong answers. After adding details, they can colour in the whole picture.

I love how the drawings that are already in the book are rough. It’s not intimidating for the child to add to the picture because it’s simple drawings with simple lines just like they would most likely do.

We haven’t tried it out because it’s going to be a holiday gift but the pages are made out of a high quality paper so that your child’s creations shouldn’t bleed through to the other side.

There are all kinds of pages. Some are draw what’s missing like the above, some are dot to dot or mazes, a few are grid drawing, a few are how to draw a simple shape and some are just open ended questions about the image that don’t provide as much direction.

Overall a great idea and one I KNOW my children will love!
