Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon – It’s On!

Spread the love

It’s been a while since I participated in this readathon and I’m excited. It’s my daughter’s birthday and my stepson is visiting but I’ll get as much done as I can.

Below is my starting survey and after that I’ll keep updating this post with my page count, mini challenges done, and how it’s going. If you are doing the readathon too make sure to comment and I’ll visit you too.

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
I’m from Windsor, Ontario, Canada!
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
Zoobiquity by Barbara Natterson-Horowitz, M.D. and Kathryn Bowers – it’s all about how animals have diseases and afflictions that we normally only associate with humans and how we can take how animals and humans are treated for these issues and combine their treatments for the best possible treatment.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
Iced Cappuccinos from Tim Hortons – I’m addicted!
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I’m a mom of 5 and this isn’t my only blog. You can see the others at http://kathleengarber.com.
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
I didn’t participate in the last one but I did participate way back when Dewey was alive and once since then. I’m so glad it’s been kept going.

About Kathleen

I've been a nonfiction lover for as long as I can remember. I love children's nonfiction as well and love to share my knowledge and the books I gained them from, with the world. I wish more people would give nonfiction a chance.
