Monthly Wrap-Up

It’s March! The year is flying by, don’t you think? I certainly didn’t read as much in Febrauary as I did in January but I’m still ahead of schedule according to GoodReads so I’m good.

This month I read 7 books. Well technically there are a few shorter ones I finished in February that I haven’t reviewed yet so I’m going to count those in March.

Books Read and Reviewed:

Tired of Arguing With Your Kids? – 4 Stars

The Intelligence Paradox – 5 Stars

I Can’t Believe You Just Said That – 4 Stars

The Year of Living Biblically – 4 stars

Free of Me – 3 Stars

The Essential Book of Useless Information – 4 Stars

Wishful Drinking – 4 Stars

By far my favourite book was definitely The Intelligence Paradox. I listened to the audio book which I don’t normally do but it was AMAZING. I loved the book so much and learned a lot. I put the rest of the author’s books on my TBR list right away. Of the 4 star books the fav was either The Year of Living Biblically or Tired of Arguing with Your Kids?

I’m honestly thinking of making Wishful Drinking 3 stars, not because there was anything wrong with it, just because it wasn’t necessarily 4 stars good. All the book are nonfiction but I still do plan to read 2 fiction books this year as per my reading challenges. I rarely read fiction so I’m trying to branch out a bit.

I haven’t been as active in the book blogging world this month having done no weekly memes or anything special like discussion posts. I haven’t even updated my reading challenges list but I don’t normally do as much blogging in the first few months of the year. I have Bipolar and my depressions come in the winter which makes it hard to blog.

For the first time in years though, I’ve been AHEAD in the review book department. I have NO review books waiting to be read. I do have some in the mail to me but I’ve been reading non review books for a while. The only review book this month was Free of Me and it was an older one I couldn’t get into at the time that I finally tried again. So March will probably be more review books if they arrive soon. I also hope to get reviews up for those smaller books I read in the past few months but never got a review up for.

If anyone is reading this, leave a comment and I’ll be sure to come visit you if I haven’t already.
