Biology Made Simple
This is a nice, thin, and yes simple introduction to Biology for kids. This could be a good gift for a budding science lover or a book you read in your homeschool (how we will use it.) I will be using it with other books I have to do a biology unit study in middle school so that my student knows the basics before high school biology.
Note some words are the UK/Australia spelling of the word and not the American spelling. I’m Canadian so I recognize both. It’s not a big deal to me but just wanted to say.
The book is colourful which makes it fun to read. The pages have different background colours and there are illustrations which help the reader to understand. Certain words are bold such as keywords that you should remember.

Many biology topics are covered such as cells, taxonomy, ecosystems, genetics, human body, senses, homeostasis, immune system, vaccines, photosynthesis, inheritance, evolution and more.
I would love to see more by this author.
